1. Introduction

Welcome to TrampinAboot Scotland (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, digital itineraries and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Service.

TrampinAboot Scotland is a company registered in Scotland under company number SC866234, with its registered office at Unit 4b Gateway Business Park, Beancross Rd, Grangemouth, FK3 8WX.

2. Our Services

We provide an online platform to help users plan and manage travel itineraries within Scotland. This may include our interactive online forms for service requests, travel recommendations, PDF Itineraries and links to third-party booking platforms for accommodation, transport, and activities.

We do not own, operate, or control any travel services, tours, or accommodations listed unless explicitly stated.

We do not provide a virtual travel assistant service and any response to questions you may have during your trip are at our discretion. 

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service. By using the Service, you confirm that:

  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms; and
  • All information you provide is accurate and up to date.

4. Payment and Fees

If our Service offers paid features or premium plans:

  • Prices are displayed in GBP (£).
  • Payment must be made through our approved payment processors.
  • Refunds are issued only in accordance with our Refund Policy.

5. Booking & Payment

A booking is made with us when you pay for the itinerary in full using the Payment link in the Quote email. We will issue you with a booking confirmation and this will commence the work on your bespoke itinerary.

We reserve the right to return your payment and decline to issue a confirmation at our absolute discretion. 

A binding contract will come into effect between you and us as soon as we have issued you with a booking confirmation that will confirm the details of your request and when we will deliver it. 

6. Changes & Cancellations

    6.1 Changes

          6.1.1 If you request changes to your itinerary after your booking has been confirmed, we will make every effort to                           accommodate your request. Additional fees may apply depending on the nature of the changes. 

          6.1.2 If you request changes to your itinerary after receipt of your itinerary, we will make every effort to accommodate                     your request, but this is at our discretion and additional fees may apply depending on the nature of the changes. 

    6.2 Client Cancellations

          Refunds are not provided, however we are happy to accommodate revisions as set out in the changes section. 

    6.3 Cancellations by the Company

          In the unlikely event that we must cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive, a full refund           of the amount paid to us for travel planning services.

    6.4 Force Majeure

      No refunds or compensation will be provided for cancellations or interruptions resulting from events beyond our control,       including but not limited to extreme weather, strikes, natural disasters, cancellations or government restrictions. 

    6.5 Third-Party Bookings

          We act as a travel planning service only and are not responsible for the cancellation or refund policies of third-party               suppliers (such as hotels, tour operators, transport providers or activity providers). You are advised to review each                   supplier’s terms before confirming bookings.

7. Third-Party Services

Our Service may include links to or integrations with third-party providers (e.g., booking agents, tour operators, activity providers, travel companies or accommodation platforms).
We do not endorse or control these providers and are not responsible for their content, terms, or performance. Any transactions made through third parties are subject to their own terms and conditions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and materials on the Service (including text, images, graphics, and logos) are owned by or licensed to TrampinAboot Scotland unless explicitly stated and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may use our content only for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

9. User Content

If you submit content (such as reviews, photos, or travel notes), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, and display that content for the purposes of operating and promoting the Service.

You must ensure that any content you submit:

  • Does not infringe any third-party rights.
  • Is lawful, truthful, and not misleading; and
  • Does not contain offensive or inappropriate material.

We reserve the right to remove or edit any user content at our discretion.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We do not accept liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of profits or data and accepts no liability for injuries, damages or delays incurred while following our itinerary and we recommend that you arrange your own travel insurance.
  • Our Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. The itineraries & travel plans provided by TrampinAboot Scotland are for informational purposes only and used at your own risk. We do not accept responsibility if the itinerary itself becomes impractical or outdated.
  • We are not liable for the acts, omissions, or errors of third-party providers or users.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Health & Safety

You are responsible for your own health and safety requirements, insurance, and other precautions relevant to your travel plans. TrampinAboot Scotland is not responsible for any medical or health-related issues that may arise during your trip. 

12. Personal Responsibility

The decision to travel and participate in any activities is your own. It is your responsibility to research and understand the risks involved. Exercise caution, especially when engaging in adventurous or high-risk activities. 

We do not accept liability for any personal injuries, property damage, losses or delays incurred while following our itinerary.

13. Privacy and Data Protection

We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.
Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that may harm others or our business.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted on our website with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of Scotland.
You agree that the courts of Scotland shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes.
